A charming beach house overlooking a stunning beach where I didn't see a single person walking anywhere during my stay. If you want to just relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings with a stunning view, it is a wonderfully serene place. There is no overload, just purity, everything you need is there, but nothing that distracts. The house is cozy, minimalistic, very clean, well equipped for cooking and grilling outside and my favorite part, it's solar powered! The location is remote but it's still just 5 minutes to groceries, farmers market, gas station and liquor store where you can stock up for a blissful solitary stay. The hardest part is getting to and from the house, you will want a 4 wheel drive vehicle. They are working on the road, it is steep and bumpy, but it's absolutely worth it. I spent countless carefree hours relaxing in the hammock, taking strolls in super soft white and pinkish sand. Dozing away in the evening whilst stargazing from the sun bed with the hypnotic sound of waves in the background. I can't imagine a better way and place to be in tune with nature. It's like a dream, and when you wake up and you can hear and see the waves from your bed, you know there is nothing else that could make your day better. Except maybe doing yoga on the porch naked. The host was very nice and helpful and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable at this incredible little piece of paradise. I love Long Island. It is rich in history, culture, and amazing beaches and sights to see, but I didn't leave the place at all, once you've been there, you are hooked and I just didn't want to waste a moment away. This was definitely not my last visit there. As a solo female traveler, I've not seen any other place with such nature, privacy and safety at the same time, such an amazing place to stay.
